Housed in San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts, the Exploratorium was founded in 1969 by famous physicist Dr. Frank Oppenheimer. It has over 650 science, art, and human perception exhibits. At the museum, you can touch a tornado, stick your shadow to a wall, paint with light, and experiment with illusions. Links:
