The Constitution of the United States only makes provision for one court: the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court serves three main functions: to oversee the federal judiciary system, to provide interpretations of federal law, and to decide major constitutional questions. Throughout our nation’s history, the Supreme Court has powerfully influenced our way of life in the decisions it has handed down. Use the links below to not only discover more about the Supreme Court and its landmark decisions, but find out for yourself what it is like to be a judge.
