Journey into the
Everglades and
experience this
unique environment
aboard a safari
airboat.

Orientation
Students are
welcomed by their
Course Leader and
given an overview of
some of the key
concepts they’ll
learn and
understand
throughout the
program.

Experience the only
subtropical preserve
in North America …
at night.  Hear the
sounds of thousands
of birds, insects, and
reptiles that make
the everglades their
home.

through Shark Valley

assessment/safety

Plankton ID Lab
Learn how to identify
plankton by type and
phyla.
Reef Biodiversity
Students learn the
characteristics of
each phylum,
preparing them to
distinguish between
the animals they will
see in the reef and
around Pigeon Key.

carbon dioxide, and
