DAY 1
Group arrives in San Francisco and is met by a
WorldStrides representative.
Ferry to Alcatraz Island
Alcatraz Island
Students will learn about the strategic importance of
Alcatraz during the Civil War and its transformation into
the famed prison.
Lunch
Pier 39
Students have free time to explore the sites and scenes
of Pier 39, located on San Francisco’s embarcadero.
Cable Car Ride
Soak in the sites of the city as you ride on San
Francisco’s historic cable cars.
Exploratorium
Students will enjoy this world-famous interactive
science museum with over 650 hands-on exhibits.
Dinner
Group departs San Francisco for home.
