Innovative Agriculture

Discover the innovative agricultural and maricultural techniques featured in Epcot's The Land pavilion. Students discover why established farming methods cannot sustain escalating needs and what experimental steps are needed to help feed the world's growing demand for nourishment.

From Wire to Wireless

At Spaceship Earth, students observe the dramatic history of communication and how changes in communication have shaped our world.

Evening Activity

Students encounter other cultures at the World Showcase and watch the famous Illuminations fireworks show.

Destination . . . Space

The Apollo missions come to life at the Saturn V Center at Kennedy Space Center where students learn about the political and technological forces that focused on putting a man on the moon. Students have the opportunity to come face-to-face with a real astronaut, and they discover space technology products such as Velcro and cellular phones.

Feel the Pressure

Students experience the world's largest collection of astronaut memorabilia, feel the pressure of four times the force of gravity in the training simulator, take a virtual walk on the moon, and more at the Astronaut Hall of Fame.

Encounter Native Nocturnals

Interact with native and foreign animal species and vegetation at Safari Todd's Jungle Adventure. Study the effects humans have had on these animals and their habitats. Students will have hands-on encounters with animals such as the endangered Florida Panther, alligators, and much more.

Depart for Tampa

Explore Barrier Island

Students take a walking tour of a barrier island and examine the effects of introducing plants and animals to an ecosystem. They participate in a shark dissection and use seine nets in grass beds to collect and identify small marine species.

Take the Challenge

Experience the interactive Science Works Theater Show at the Museum of Science and Industry. Rely on teamwork and develop problem-solving skills in a simulated space mission in the Challenger Learning Center, and create a comet in the Comet Workshop laboratory.

Explore Life Science:

Species preservation

Students take a behind the scenes look at endangered species preservation in a Sea World seminar. They will also experience an arctic ecosystem and study the survival attributes of penguins, puffins, and polar bears.

Students interact with dolphins and observe other marine life, including the Florida Manatee.
