The Royal National Theatre
The Royal National Theatre was built in 1976 after 200 years of deliberation about the decision of whether to build and where to build it. The theater incases three auditoriums, the largest named after Britain’s face of 20th Century acting, Laurence Olivier. Performances by modern playwrights, classics, and of course, Shakespearian, grace the stages throughout the year.
