In 2009, at the beautiful Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, 100,000 students will sign their name on a historic document to pledge to stand together as a country and help better America. The statues and monuments of the FDR Memorial symbolize the struggles and hardships that Roosevelt guided our country through. Today, in the midst of similar hardships, students will sign their names to a historic document that will be presented to government offices and archived at the Library of Congress.
